Samphire Cottage, Stiffkey
Situated in the renowned village of Stiffkey, this lovely barn style cottage provides the perfect accommodation for a family holiday by the sea, or equally for a romantic break away from it all.
The location is both stunning and tranquil, providing immediate access to the coast whilst being just a short walk to village amenities such as the excellent Stiffkey Stores and the Red Lion Pub. Both Well-Next-the-sea, Blakeney and Cley are a short drive, and the lovely Georgian town of Holt is just 9 miles away.
Stiffkey is in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and offers excellent walking and wildlife. In fact it’s possible to walk to the seal colony by Blakeney point for a unique opportunity to see the seals, by foot, in their own habitat.
Within a very short drive there are countless quaint brick and flint villages offering fantastic food and drink – most of which are dogs friendly.
The cottage has been fully renovated and is well equipped with French windows onto the garden both east and west, and a large log burner to cosy in front of in the colder months. The garden is fully enclosed and safe for dogs, with plenty of lawn for playing games. From Samphire Cottage, the short walk to the coast bring you to the beach with sandy creaks (great for children and dogs alike), and to the North Norfolk coastal path and Peddars Way which provides miles of picturesque off road walking possibilities.
